Briefly, me.
I'm Wejdan — a Jeddah-based UI & UX designer and HCI graduate. I work in Arabic and English the same way, and the research comes before the screen.
How I work.
I treat evidence as part of the design, not a side report. Every claim traces back to a specific page. When a project was planned but never tested, the page says that out loud. I lean on real research when the question deserves it, structured critique when it's already been answered, and clear design systems so screens come out of a system, not an improvisation.
I design in Arabic and English with equal rigor. Right-to-left is load-bearing from the first component, not a theme switch bolted on later.
What I work by.
- 01
Research-grounded
Every claim traces to a page. If the evidence isn't there, the page says so.
- 02
Arabic held to standard
RTL is load-bearing from the first component — not a theme switch, not a translation.
- 03
Systems before screens
Tokens, components, and type scales come first. Screens come out of them.
- 04
Decoration serves clarity
When in doubt, cut the ornament before cutting the signal.
What I offer
Three lanes, one standard: honest output.
